Our Mission

School and Tutors on Wheels, a free adult literacy program, is a sponsored ministry of the Congregation of St. Joseph. Through free individualized English instruction, we work toward systemic change in society by empowering students to build their strengths and the effective use of their voice. We work to ensure the inclusion of those who are typically excluded, underrepresented or undervalued. School and Tutors on Wheels exists, "That All May Be One".
Our Vision

Our vision is that School and Tutors on Wheels will:
Be known for the inclusive, individualized, quality education we provide to our students.
Be a financially self-sustaining organization with a multitude of funding sources.
Expand programs and sites to meet the literacy needs in surrounding communities.
Engage civic and business leaders in a partnership that improves the quality of life for all members of their communities.
